Over the past year I have had the opportunity to connect with some incredible women who serve mothers and families in our community. One of those women is Kristen Woudstra, owner of Oakland Prenatal Massage.
Kristen and I first connected virtually before I moved back to Michigan. We started talking about birth work, supporting mothers, and the many ways providers care for families during pregnancy and postpartum.
Not long after, she reached out to me about creating a branding session for Oakland Prenatal Massage.
When we finally met in person over coffee, it felt like a natural fit. We talked through her vision and how she wanted the work she does at Oakland Prenatal Massage to be represented through imagery.
Because both of our schedules can be unpredictable, it took a few months before the session finally happened. During that time we stayed in touch, met for coffee a few times, and slowly became friends along the way.
